AFRSL is incorporated as an organization independent from any specific spirituality and religious communities. AFRSL welcomes members of all belief systems and practices. While there is no overt or violent conflict among diverse faiths, religions and indigenous spirituality practices in South Africa, we have noted that subtle tensions often surface when the media and other sectors of society including other governmental institutions publicly discredit other faiths and indigenous African practices without optimum consultation.
